03How we do it

Creative that’s diagnosed, not guessed

Before anyone opens a design file, we find out whether the problem is the click or the conversion. They need different fixes.

  1. 01Diagnose with Search Query Performance
    What we look at
The ASIN view in Brand Analytics, with branded queries stripped out, so we compare like with like.
    The rule we apply
Compare your click-through rate (clicks ÷ impressions) and conversion rate (purchases ÷ clicks) with the category’s. Low CTR means the main image is the job. Low CVR means the supporting images, A+, video and Brand Story are the job.
    What you get
A one-line diagnosis and a brief aimed at the right problem.
  2. 02Mine the reviews
    What we look at
5 to 10 pages of your reviews, then the image stacks of your top competitors.
    The rule we apply
Rank the top 5 reasons people love the product, and the top complaints, by how often they come up. Then tear down the competitors’ images against those reasons.
    What you get
A brief built on what buyers actually say, not on a mood board.
  3. 03Rebuild the main image
    What we look at
Your main image next to everything else on the search page.
    The rule we apply
It has to win the click at thumbnail size while staying inside Amazon’s main-image rules.
    What you get
A main image that earns its place in the results.
    • Product shown out of its packaging
    • Pack quantity obvious at a glance
    • Fills the frame with minimal white space
    • Fully compliant with Amazon’s main-image rules
  4. 04Build the supporting stack
    What we look at
The questions and doubts from the review mining.
    The rule we apply
Each image does one job and answers one reason to buy.
    What you get
A gallery that sells as the shopper scrolls.
    • Infographics paired with lifestyle shots
    • One selling point per image
    • Social proof where you have it
    • A comparison image where it helps
  5. 05Prove it
    What we look at
Conversion rate and sales for each version.
    The rule we apply
A/B test with Manage Your Experiments and let it run long enough to be meaningful. Judge it on conversion and sales, not on opinions.
    What you get
The version that sells more stays live, and you can see why.

Click-through is above the category, conversion is below it. Here the job is the supporting images, A+ and video, not the main image.

  • Insight
Your main image is an ad; your secondary images are the sales pitch.
  • Insight
Fix the click before you fix the conversion.

More conversion on too few clicks still adds up to too few orders.

    Agree priorities

We walk you through the plan on a short call and agree the first 30 days together.

  3. Step 3

    Launch / rebuild

We fix structure, listings and tracking, then launch.

    We become your team

Senior people run the account day to day inside your Seller Central.

  5. Step 5

    Reporting

Weekly updates and a monthly review in plain language.

  6. Step 6

    Iterate & expand

Double down on what works, cut what does not, add channels when ready.

09FAQ

Creative Optimization questions

Do you design the creative in-house?

Our team writes the briefs and directs the creative so it matches what your data says shoppers need.

Do I need Brand Registry for A+ content?

Yes. A+, Brand Store and Manage Your Experiments all require Brand Registry. We can help you set it up.

How do you test images?

With Amazon Manage Your Experiments where eligible, comparing click-through and conversion between versions.

Can you work with our existing photography?

Yes. We often start from your current assets and only reshoot when they are holding sales back.

Is creative part of full-service management?

It can be. Creative Optimization runs on its own or inside Amazon Account Management.

10Testimonials

What clients say

  • Schaaf Tools logo
“We were looking for someone that could provide strategy for growth, including organic growth. For us, that has meant targeting a higher ACoS at times for a better TACoS. The result has been our two highest revenue months ever. Hiring Vadim was one of the best business decisions we made.”

    Eli Pearlman

    Schaaf Tools

  • Hit Products logo
“I’ve appointed three PPC agencies in the UK and US. No one was pulling the wool over my eyes. Then I met Vadim on Reddit — his replies were insightful and cut through the BS. EVERY metric has moved in the right direction and PPC spend has gone DOWN. Make sure Vadim is on your shortlist.”

  • Hit Products logo
“I’ve been most impressed by how PPC Jumpstart has delivered on its promise to improve my account metrics whilst maintaining sales. Several larger agencies with bigger teams have been unable to compete here.”

“Selling on Amazon has been a journey with a lot of struggles and we have gone through many ad managers who were not great. Once we started to work with Vadim there was an immediate difference, our sales went up and as the months went by they skyrocketed. Since working with Vadim our sales have gone from around 10K per month to 10K per day or 300K per month. 30X in about 2 years working with him. He is a valuable member of our team at this point and it is a pleasure to work with.”

  • Volt Grooming logo
“About 40% of our ad spend was going to wrong buyers, wasting our ad budget and losing sales to competition. After 3 months working with PPC Jumpstart our sales are up 25%. We use the right keywords and target the correct potential buyers with our ads. This is a huge improvement over what we were doing prior to working with them.”
