PuroLabs is a UK supplement brand selling vegan-friendly magnesium, B12, D3 & K2 and CoQ-10, in a saturated category where near-identical labels compete on price and reviews.
The challenge
The account had been built like a US copy, with American phrasing and bids that did not reflect GBP margins. New-to-brand customers were expensive to win, and January’s wellness peak was treated like any other month. Single bottles carried most of the ad cost while higher-margin magnesium bundles went under-promoted.
Our approach
- 1Foundation
UK-native structure
We researched UK spelling, phrasing and search volume for every product line, and set bids from GBP margins rather than converted US targets.
- 2Awareness
Need-state targeting
Campaigns were grouped by why shoppers search, such as sleep, muscle recovery and everyday energy, so bids and creative matched each need.
- 3Consideration
Bundles as the gateway
Magnesium bundles became the hero ASINs in Sponsored Brands, with Sponsored Display re-engaging shoppers who had viewed single bottles.
- 4Conversion
Seasonal pacing
Budgets were front-loaded for January and the spring wellness peak and eased through summer, with monthly reports and UK-hours strategy calls.

- UK search terms mapped
- Bids set in GBP
- Bundles promoted
Insights that drove decisions
- 22% of top UK terms missing
US phrasing meant many high-volume UK searches were not targeted at all.
We added them with UK spelling and local product phrasing.
- £11.40 more contribution per order
Bundles earned meaningfully more per order than single bottles.
We made bundles the hero product in brand ads.
- 1.8× search volume in January
Supplement demand spiked sharply at the start of the year.
We pre-loaded budget from late December.

The blueprint
In a saturated supplement category, price wars are a losing game. Build for the local marketplace, lead with the bundle that earns the most per order, and pace budget around the moments people decide to start a routine.
Thank you to the PuroLabs team for trusting us with the account.
